Summary Report

This report will give you all the headline figures you need to monitor your school’s progress. Constantly updated to reflect the government’s statement of intent you can be certain of finding the information you need. For example, you will be able to see the percentage of students obtaining 5+ A*-C grades (including English and maths) in all examinations as well as the same figure for GCSE examinations only.

SISRA provides administrators with the facility to set up subjects in a way that will guarantee the accuracy of your data. For example, an OCR National (level 2) in science will count towards the 2 A*-C science indicator but not the English Baccalaureate, and, because SISRA can handle any qualification with an official points value, your data will be completely reliable, something which is not always possible with a school’s MIS system.

The summary report will allow you to see your school’s headline figures for examinations, mocks and assessments with the ability to compare all of these to your targets in a simple, colour-coded format. In this way you will be able to identify quickly areas of strengths and weakness.

The summary report will save you a great deal of time and effort as it provides all your headline figures quickly, accurately and easily.

In addition, by using the appropriate filters, you will be able to see your headline figures for selected groups of students. For example, boys, girls, those students receiving free school meals or on the SEN register or any combination of these. So when OFSTED asks you how statemented boys on free school meals are doing you will be able to provide this information at the click of a mouse.

The facility also exists to illustrate any of the above reports in the form of a graph, very useful when you are doing presentations to other staff or governors.

Whilst this report is of particular interest to senior leaders it will also be useful for other staff, such as heads of year or house and allow them to check on the overall progress of the students in their care.

The summary report will save you a great deal of time and effort as it provides all your headline figures quickly, accurately and easily, something which is particularly useful on results day in August when you need this information as soon as possible!
